Our Drainage  Services

We cover the full range of drainage work for homes, rental properties, and commercial sites. Each service has its own dedicated page with full detail on what's involved, the process, and what to expect on cost.

24/7 Emergency Drain Callouts

Drain blocked, sewage backing up, or water where it shouldn't be — right now.

We're available around the clock, every day of the year. If you have a drainage emergency, call 0330 128 1329 and we'll talk you through the situation immediately. For most properties in our core Bournemouth and Dorset area, we can be with you the same day.

Blocked drains — indoor and outdoor

Sewage backup and overflow

Drain collapse or sudden failure

Out-of-hours emergency response

Drain Unblocking

Blocked sink, slow-draining bath, blocked toilet or outdoor drain causing problems.

Most domestic blockages can be cleared in a single visit using high-pressure water jetting or manual rodding — whichever is right for the situation. We diagnose before we act, and we'll tell you if the blockage is likely to recur and why.

High-pressure water jetting

Manual drain rodding

Blocked sinks, baths, toilets, outdoor drains

Same-day availability on most jobs

CCTV Drain Surveys

Find out exactly what's going on inside your drains — without guessing.

We insert a camera into the drain and record footage of what's there. Useful for diagnosing persistent blockages, checking the condition of older pipes, investigating subsidence, or producing a report for a property purchase. You get the footage and a written report.

Diagnostic surveys for recurring blockages

Pre-purchase homebuyer drain surveys

Condition reports for landlords and insurer

Drainage reports for planning and building regs

Drain Repairs & Relining

Cracked, collapsed, or misaligned drains — repaired with or without digging.

Drain repairs range from patch lining a single crack to full excavation and replacement of a damaged section. Where possible, we use no-dig techniques — drain relining and CIPP lining — which are faster, less disruptive, and often less expensive than excavation. We'll recommend the right method for what we actually find.

CIPP patch lining

Drain joint sealing

Excavation and section replacement where required

Root Removal

Tree roots growing into your drains are a slow-build problem that doesn't get better on its own

Root intrusion is one of the most common causes of recurring drain blockages, particularly in older properties with mature trees nearby. We cut and clear root growth from inside the pipe using specialist cutting equipment, and assess whether the pipe itself has been damaged and needs repair.

 Root cutting and clearance

CCTV inspection to assess pipe damage

Ongoing maintenance advice

Relining if pipe walls have been compromised

Soakaway Installation

Surface water building up on your property? A soakaway may be the right solution.

A soakaway allows surface water to drain slowly into the ground rather than overwhelming gutters and drains. We design and install soakaways for residential gardens, driveways, and commercial sites — including crate systems, rubble-filled, and French drains depending on ground conditions and drainage requirements.

Crate soakaways and French drains

Soakaway testing and condition reports

Homebuyer Drain Surveys

Buying a property? A drain survey before exchange is one of the most overlooked checks — and one of the most important.

A CCTV drain survey carried out as part of the conveyancing process can identify collapsed pipes, root intrusion, misaligned joints, or illegal drainage connections before you complete. Problems found after exchange become your problem. We produce survey reports clear enough for a homebuyer to read and detailed enough for a solicitor to act on.

Pre-purchase CCTV drain inspection

Written survey report and footage

Solicitor-ready documentation

Available across all coverage areas

Domestic and Commercial Both Done Properly

Homeowners, tenants, and private landlords. Whether it's a blocked sink that needs clearing this afternoon or a full pre-purchase drain survey before you exchange, our team handles domestic drainage work at every level.

FAQS

Common Questions About Our Services

  • How do I know which service I need?

Call 0330 128 1329 and describe what you're seeing — we'll tell you. Most customers know something is wrong but aren't sure whether they need an unblocking, a survey, or a repair. A two-minute call usually makes it clear. There's no charge for pointing you in the right direction.

  • Do you offer emergency versions of all your services?

Emergency callouts cover drain unblocking, sewage overflow, and sudden drainage failure. CCTV surveys, soakaway installations, and drain relining are planned services and are not available as same-day emergency work. If your situation is urgent, call and we'll confirm what can be done and when.

  • Can you do a survey and the repair in the same visit?

Sometimes, yes. For straightforward blockages and minor issues, we can clear the problem and carry out a quick inspection in a single visit. For more complex repairs — relining, excavation, soakaways — the assessment and the work are usually separate appointments. We'll confirm the likely scope on the call before anyone comes out.

  • Do you work across all of Dorset and Hampshire?

Our core area covers Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, and the surrounding towns. We also cover Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, and Berkshire for both emergency and planned work. For a specific postcode, call or send a message and we'll confirm coverage and likely response time for your area.
